Whats you major? Its going to have to be good in order to afford one. 80 grand is nothing to shake a stick at.

doesn't matter his major b/c statistics show that the ten highest paid jobs with any of the highest degrees u can get from school will only get u starting @ $80k/year... and only two jobs would start @ or just above $100k...

also $80k is not a lot of money... i know ppl who make that in a month... u just have to be in the right industry...

I was on race track a few weeks back
a R35 owner brought a JDM spec one for a spin
it was incredibly fast (although quiet ahaha) in stock form
over a 1minute lap it was only some 1 sec slower than a fully modified R32 GTR
with race tires, race suspension, race brakes, roll cage, and some 450hp atw

80k is not alot babyblue???

im sure you do know certain folks who make that in hours, days, months,

im sure most of us wont even see those digits hit our bank accounts in our lifetime.
maybe your right with the 80k is nothing, since the economy and the dollar value is going down as the days pass.

if you'd ask me, 80k of regardless whats it worth, i'd be satified with. i dont plan living a luxuary life style or what not, just a simple one, in hopes of owning a FD2!

Our dealership is getting at least one and will only sell to a local buyer.
Oh, and of course there will be no test drives

Once I get my degree, just a BS, I'll have a base pay of 100k with a chance at 150K if i take some call.

Anyone out there have a monthly payment calculator?
Let's say it's $1,000 per month.
That's a lot of $$ if you make $2k or $3k per month (oh, let's remember insurance!).
But, if you're single and making $6k or $7k per month then what the hay? It's all relative.
I make good money (BS degree btw) but I wouldn't budget that much on a car. Got other stuff to worry about like mortgage, kids, health insurance, etc.

Why can't the GT-R be a 6spd manual transmission? (I know everyone has said that already but why)
I swear to god, when Nissan announced the skyline concept in 2001 which is called the GT-R today (duh), I read in an article that Nissan was going to make a v8 version with an auto like today's GT-R and a v6 twin turbo, 6spd manual transmission...why didn't they do that? Because, I mean we all love to have a clutch! Again, I swear, I read that back in 2000 or 2001...i have to find the source if they still have it.

The computer can shift better than any human can. Get used to it. The manual is going the way of the Dodo.

That's understandable. I was just making a comparison. I agree, computers can shift better than any human can but, some humans prefer a real transmission with a clutch.
