Smile Well I finally found a fix for all my cars problems.

I have never owned such a piece of **** car in my life, although I only owned one car before it. I have forever lost faith in whatever Honda makes again.

Let's see. it all started the very first month with my seat breaking and srs light stuck on.

Then, soon after they fixed the seat and srs light...the back of my seat broke.

Oh yeah, my entire ceiling rattled to death after a while.

And there was my tennis ball knocking from the rear of the car.

And finally...I managed to kill my auto tranny in plain ass stop and go traffic.

Repeated attempts to get these items fixed have all failed. Today Honda told me there was NO problem with my auto tranny, and that the jerk from 2nd to 3rd is NORMAL. I NEVER felt it before, and I know it's the torque convertor going.

So **** that. I ended up fixing the problem by ridding myself of that POS once and for all.

Here is my new ride.

I think I can mess with some of the Si owners here now.

Yeah. Trust me it looks SOOOO MUCH better in person. The yellow isn't bad at all. I'll snap some more pics of the car tomorrow in broad daylight. My SONY cameras so bad at night.

I've had the car only 5 hours so far and was stopped 3x by people asking about it. It's such a great feeling.

Limited edition Jetta that comes with some interior changes (much better leather package) and some cosmetic changes. It really doesn't cost much more than the regular GLi Jetta, but there are only 1200 in the entire world...

And I have one.

I am in debt up my ass, but you know...I am really happy and wanted something nice while I can.

I love that steering wheel!

The yellow looks like a taxi from those pics, but I saw one at a car show and it looks really nice in person.

Well at least you got the 2.0T. The 2.5 is a POS and you will be going back to square #1 wishing that you kept your Civic.

Nice car though.. I would have gotten that car too (non-Fahrenheit) 2.0T if I didn't get the Acura in the first place

Hopefully this new car will be problem free for you as I think your Honda was a lemon. I have had friends with VDub's in the past with nightmare stories. One was such a POS that VDub finally had to buy it back from him. IMO Jap > Germans

Good luck with VW. They train their techs and service advisors on how to NOT honor the warranty. Sad becuase VW offers a nice car.

Make sure VW uses the correct rated oil for the 2.0t. I think it requires 505.01. And I hope you didn't get the DSG trans- if so check out the service cost for it.

I've had a friend with issues with his Passat too, and he couldn't believe I bought a Jetta. I am sure there are bad apples in every company, but my friend deals with the dealer I bought the car from, and they have treated him extremely well.

This alone made me want to buy the car from them. I really like the fact that I have something unique'ish also.

No, it's a manual. I didn't think the DSG version was worth the extra money in payments for the car.

The only problem is...I can't drive a manual!!! In one day I have seemed to master the basics, and I shift perfectly...it's just getting up those damned hills that is killing me right now. (I've been cheating by holding the handbrake...lol.)

The dealer seems to be very helpful with my friends RX-8, and I have faith in their helpfulness. I've only dealt with bad dealers with my Civic, which made me hate the car.

Thanks! Can't wait to see one of you Si owners on the street so I can smoke you guys.

Driving a manual is a bit easier than I thought, I am sure I can get the hang of it very soon. I hope that I am not damaging it by stalling it so much.

Actually, I loved my Civic. It was just making me so sad everytime something bad happenned to it. If the car would have been made just a little bit (actually a lot) more solid...I would have probably kept it for years.

LOL. It could be close...but I think you would get taken by a half car. Nice ride....kinda pricy though? Like 28?
