Ultimate Civic

http://www.thetorquereport.com/2007/...ugen_will.html
Quote:
The upgrades to the Civic Si include:
- Lightweight 18" Wheels and Summer Tires (27% lighter than the 17" Wheels on the Si)

- Track-Tuned Suspension (Lowered by 0.6 inch with front and rear damping force increased by 8 and 24 percent)

- Aerodynamic Kit for the Front, Rear and Sides

- Bigger Rear Spoiler

- Sport Exhaust System

- Unique Interior Trim

Sadly there aren't any changes to the 2.0L 4-cylinder engine, so power remains at 197 horsepower and 139 lb.ft. of torque.

Honda hasn't announced the pricing for its ultimate Civic, but the automaker stated that the pricing will be under $30,000. The base Civic Si starts under $22,000. Are the small changes worth the extra cost?

The real question is: When are we going to get the Civic Type R in the U.S.?

R-R-R-R-Repost! Still though, I wish they came out with that color for the FG2. Or is that just FBP with different lighting?

BTW, different interior trim just means a different shift knob and the front tray says, "Mugen Powered".

I rather think that's eye of the beholder stuff. I'd love to have a rear diffuser.

But, yes, in essence, most of it is exterior mods.

I don't think it's worth the extra money when you could get all those things seperate in time for MUCH less all together.

Someone did calculations. A new SI + buying the Mugen parts that go on it to make it look like the Mugen SI - $ and time to install = $ of Mugen SI, if I remember correctly

if you did all the installs yourself, you'd be better off. the MUGEN civic looks hot as hell but I hope people aren't going to go trading in their Si's for it and BOOSTING up their overall car owed balance. it's bad enough that most of us are walking "out the door" with a price of 20 to 25K for the Si!!!. If I EVER spend 30 grand on ANY jap car, it would be the Evo....EASILY!
