The new Se-r Spec-v is not like the old!

Well people,
Just wanted to let you guys know I test drove the new 07 nissan sentra se-r spec-v and this thing is a beast! Dont be coky if you come across one, because this thing has new balls. I have tested the 06 spec-v and is no where near the leaque of this new spec-v. I'm in the process of trading my little r18 for one, here it sells for $23,800 and the si sedan sells for $29,500! So, i guess is goodbye to my 8thgen.

I've not driven one but on paper they sound like they'll be a really fun car to drive.

Good luck on picking up one and enjoy it!

good luck on your new investment. IMO, anything in the price range of the civic is not as good. Be very careful of nissans reliability.

The only problems that consisted in 06 models was that it burned oil alittle faster due to different piston rings. This is covered by Nissan as a Warranty Issue.

As for other problems, get a Catless header and you have nothing to worry about.

Yeah the new Spec V may look like crap, but it has torque and 200hp.

yea, i would definitely be careful. my friend owned a 03 spec-v after they had been out a while and still went through 4 engines because of quality issues. He has now gotten rid of the car and has a new maxiima.

And by the way, everyone he knows with the last spec-v (all model years) has been through at least 1 engine and all have gotten rid of them since.

yea, good luck with the spec-v. I had an '02 nissan sentra that was my last nissan for good.

The QR25DE on the Se-r spec-v which is the same engine on the 2.5 altima is one of the worst engines out there. If you regular on some nissan forums you will know.
