Moved to the Garage. It's beautiful. My god. It made my heart skip a beat. Is it a '70?

'67. First year they came out with the firebird. This was a find and a half its in good shape for being 40 years old. Matching numbers. I can get some engine shots soon maybe tomorrow. Its a 400, original motor from the factory, its clean but i have to clean it up some more for this weekend i'm pretty sure there's a car show down in southern new jersey we're taking it to.

I'm always off on the age of every Pontiac except the GTO. It's my favorite. Still though, that is a beautiful car and you found it in Jersey like that? Original owner? Where?! My dad used to take me to South Jersey the classic car shows in the summer when I was a kid. I think he's still shocked that the first car I went nuts on modding was a new car. He likes it but I think he was hoping I would have gone classic first.

GTO! we sold a GTO 2 years ago.. A 1966 GTO le mans.. nothing too special about it, just something to work on then sold it. It was fun to drive but not like the Firebird. i have pictures on this computer or another one i'll have to look and see if i can find them for you, i'm sure you'd like it. The thing was a boat to drive. I wish they didn't call the new GTO, GTO.. i think they took away from what the original was, and didn't they just come out with a charger with 4 doors?! i don't know where they're going with bringing back the old models, but to each their own. i just had to share these pictures, this was after changing the front brakes so it was nice to enjoy it for a little bit and take some pictures. i have some more.

this one is my absolute favorite. Although, we have to take the hood scoops out and paint them black because the owner before us matched them to the paint, they're supposed to be black but that's not a big issue. my civic creepin in the background ha!

Boat or not. Nothing beats the classics. My dream car is a '70 GTO Judge. I can't explain why. I've never seen one in person. Maybe that's part of the appeal. All I know is that if I won the lottery tomorrow, I'd find one and then send it off to Chip Foose to glam it up a bit. All original but better than new.

RIGHT ON! the judge is such a nice car. Hugger Orange? That's the color i'd go for but hey, that's just me. i can talk classic cars all day i friggen love them. They have so much power, but honestly they're just for cruising. i haven't seen a judge in person either. I don't know how you feel about other classic cars but you'd love it 2 towns over from me. The speed shop that we go to (my father and I) they only deal with classic cars. and yes its still called a speed shop because everything they produce goes fast. Went yesterday to pick up some wheel spacers and there was a '70 Chevelle outside the shop BEAUTIFUL! Yellow with black racing stripes it looked awesome. Not 100% from the era because they had steel braided lines all over the place for the fuel cell and what not but jesus, i love classic cars

What town is that shop in?

I grew up in south eastern Gloucester county. Yes, I'm practically a piney. Anyway, I had a neighbor who had 2 Barracudas, I don't remember the years of the cars. A Challenger and a '68 Camaro. I was a Camaro Junkie back then. Every Saturday morning there was the chorus of big block V8's across the street. I loved it. I left 13 years ago so I don't know if they're still into classic cars though.

the speed shop i'm talking about is in Linden New Jersey. A lot more north than where you were. A '69 Camaro is actually what my father is after those cars are so hard to come by though. One that's in decent shape i mean, and one that's not track ready. Everyone, for some reason or another, feels the need to take a classic car and put a huge motor in it, roll cage, and slicks and run them down the 1/4 mile.

I had the same Cragar wheels on my then new 1970 Camaro SS350. They looked sharp. Love your Firebird. Nothing like clean, American muscle.

My best friend had a '70 GTO Judge with the Ram Air IV motor. Very fast. Drove it many times and raced it several times with my '69 427 Vette roadster. The GTO is one of the all-time classic muscle cars, having really been the first of its kind. The '69 and '70 iterations were the most gorgeous IMO.

Nice Cragar SS's I have a 69 Dodge Charger I am working on, not looking at turning it into a Trailer Queen however a good weekend driver would be ideal. I picked up a set of cragar SS's (4) used but in excellent condition for about $450. Eventually I am looking at either restoring or replacing the original Rally Mag wheels that were on the charger. Currently my car is sitting primer with everything torn out of it except the dash.
