So whats my car worth right now........

WHat are the 06 civics worth (obviously MSRP). I looked on NADA and KBB and they wont give a used car price for a 06. I have a 4dr LX AT, just wondering how much its worth? Also, does the worth go down qaurterly, annually, 0r semi? Thanks.

It's worth about 3/4 of what you bought it for right now. Civic's have a fairly high resale value, so my guess would be that you'll lose another 5% or so every year.

The books are updated monthly. Generally the value will go down a bit every month, especially for the first 4-5 years, but it could go up between months if for some realson the car becomes more popular (i.e, used Civics could go up month to month if gas goes to $5.00/gal). The books are based on what cars are selling for and sales price is based on demand.

Market value your car is prolly worth around 16k, pending on mileage. I would have to guess it's annually as well, considering of course you don't rack up insane miles on the car. 10k miles per year is the average. If you can't find your price in the blue book, just go look on ebay.

I've always heard 15k is average. Is 10k something KBB has said is average? Just curious.

BTW, I've had my '06 for 6 months and it already has 10k, so if that's the average, I'll be way above that in a year.

I remembered that from my DMV book while taking my written test But that was well over a year ago, so you may be right. I mean, hybrids were invented for a reason right? :)

I went to my friend who works at a Scion dealer cause I am getting sick of all the little issues with my Civic. They offered me 16k for trade on my Alabaster Silver EX Sedan with Auto, Fogs, Spoiler. I would imagine you could sell it outright for around what you pay for it, maybe slightly less cause the market for them is pretty hot.
