Old Woman in an Si Sighting...

This morning on my way to work in Stamford, CT an old Asian woman probably about 70yo passed me going the other way in her Galaxy Grey FG2...

I'm not sure what to take of this...
But I can't help but to be impressed that an old woman like that was driving a sporty little 6speed.

I saw an older couple (probably around 60) in a RR FA5 the other day.

I felt like such a wiener pulling up next to them at the light in my FA1. I was waiting for the old guy to start revving the engine.... but he never did.

Years ago when I was more stupid I street raced my built 1968 cutlass. I remember a time when an old lady pulled up next to me in a fox body mustang. My jaw hit the floor when she burned the tires off it thru second gear and proceeded to walk all over my cutlass!!

My friend was in my car at the time and still gives me crap about that.

Well I wasn't stopped at a light next to her, but I hope I would have been swifter on the shifts to beat her. But I was stopped for a light and she came rolling right by me the other way. I was pretty impressed though, I hope to still be able to have fun and drive stick cars when I'm senior.

There is another RR Si here in my area that is driven by a 60ish year old guy that walks with a cane. Apparently his wife died recently and he had no need for the 4 door Accord he traded for the Si.
