My Biggest Regret!

For awhile now, I've been thinking if it was the right descision to have gotten the White Si instead of the Black one. I'm adding a CF lip and hood on the Black Si, but it won't show as well as a white car would. DAMMIT! I really regret it now.

Here's some pictures of what and where I'm heading for.

Is it beautiful or what guys???? GOOSH DARNIT! I WANT WHITE! This is all that I need. No bodykits. No chrome. No BS. Just some simple addons and brake system upgrade and that's it! And some nice euros like the ones in the picture. Can't believe it has euros. (They usually over do the euros when they are designing them.)

I'm thinking about painting it Championship White. Will that void any warranty or whatever? I need some advise ASAP!

well i have a black one (EX), im ordering some CF hood and trunk for my car
i think they would look fine, most like stock, i like that...
my first options was white, black, Ethernal Blue, but the first car that was sell in mexico was black... and it was mine (thats cus honda uses the black ones for the showroom) and well, i know that CF parts and some body kits doesnt looks as good as in a black one....
but then i told my father my project and the reason of my white prefference, and they told me that it wont look so good cus it will look like a patch car
and thats right, people that doesnt knows what is CF... thinks it looks like and old car whit some hood and trunk w/o paint
and btw.... i want my car look like stock....

Yeah.. Maybe you're right. Stock is better. I mean, I wasn't gonna patch up my car with CF like that. Just a simple lip here , there. But yeah, you're right. I'll save this project for the Jeezer (GSR) I'm getting.

Yes, you'll void the warranty on the paint. And if you ever have an accident with the white paint after you bought the car black, your insurance will say you damaged the car even before you had the accident. It's crazy, I know, but it's the truth.

Honestly, if you want a white Si, trade it. But you should know, the white paint that comes on the 8th gen Si's isn't Championship, nor is it even close to Championship, so you still would've had to paint it. The stock white is quite dull in comparison. In reality, I'd say you chose the better color, and until we get a Championship White Pearl paint as the paint code, Honda's gonna tease us with the (comparably) crappy white. Nothing pops on a Honda car like that special white paint. Yummy....

EDIT: I think the Nighthawk black is a much sexier color than the white. Sure the carbon won't be as obvious, but black cars with carbon fiber accents are the sh't. Seriously...

Plus, you got that blue glow under streetlights. Definitely can't do that with white. It's just....white. Yours is....Nighthawk. Now YOU tell me which sounds sexier. lol...

the concept si is a pearl white

oem si avail at dealers are plain taffeta white
if they offered the pearl from say the TSX or concept si
i would have gotten it

but NEVER EVER AGAIN a black car from honda/acura
worst quality is NBP, my tsx was horrible

The Taff white versus pearl white was what broke the 'white' decision for me. I very much like the pearl white from the RSX, however, the Taff white on the Civic was rather plain in comparison (IMHO).

We all love this concept. If only it were available.

I'm researching kits, spoilers, lips, et cetera... but I'm not terribly familiar with Honda tuning yet. Quality manufacturers? Websites to research/compare/purchase?

I haven't been looking too hard, but I haven't seen anything for the new Civics yet.

mostly because there isn't anything yet. Supposedly Extreme Dimensions will have something in a few months, but I think it's the Hotwheels wide-body from the green Hotwheels Si at SEMA. I'm not to terribly fond of it, but they have great quality parts. Seibon also has pretty good quality parts. A lot of people like VIS, but personally, I think they're overrated.
