Online Parts Dealers + Gripe

Ok, I've dealt with handa-accessories.com and now Majestic Honda (hondaautomotiveparts.com). Great luck with the first, so-so with the second.

I plan to replace the factory deck in my LX sedan and ordered the new panel, radio brackets and screws from Majestic. They forgot to send the left bracket. No big deal, but when I told them, they said they'd send it to me, but I'll have to pay their $5 handling fee again. I don't think so.

So I'm not sure I'll be using them again. Who else is out there that you guys have had good luck with?

I, too, ordered the parts from Majestic Honda (hondaautomotiveparts.com) to convert my EX dash to the DX dash to put in an aftermarket HU. they charged me for the screws but didn't send them.

It is a little thing but ...

I will not be using them again.

bikecop,

Am I blind, or are there only accessories available from the site you suggested? I tried searching for parts like the ones I mentioned, and my search turned up empty.

I do like the idea of 3.95 handling and that's it, though.

majestic rapes everyone on S&H...... simple as that, and their service is sub-par.

Call 'em and talk to Tim Poliniak. I think he can get anything you want! I usually buy filters and other maintenance items in bulk for my 98 civc, and bought over 1K of accessories for an '01 MDX when I bought it new.

Yes they are! I had some concerns about their OEM oil filters. Had some kind of brown residue on the face plates. I ordered four of them! I first thought it was rust! I wrote them with my concerns and they assured me it was a normal cosmetic for the oil filter. Just never heard of oil filters having brown residue on the face plates... Come to find out it is some kind or protectant...

Not sure if this is the right place to post it...but here goes:

Anyone install the Auto Day/Night mirror themselves? Is it a simple installation?

You should look into www.hondapartsdeals.com These guys truly rock!

They are quick and helpful, respond to questions and know their stuff.

I will be dealing with them again for future parts!
