Question How much do members make ?

When Acura released the new RL, they mentioned that it was targeting males in the 30-40 age range and making $110K/yr or more.

The Civic is targetting a demographic that does not make that much. But what is the actual real world data for those purchasing these cars ? Thus the poll ....

I totally do not fit the demographic...I am 36, in health care, but have a monster commute now with the new house we just built far outside of town. We have other toys and other property that are more of a priority. Loving the Coupe EX and Nav, not the nicest car I have ever owned, but fun, and the Nav is the easiest to use...over those from Audi, Merc, etc. Could have gone Acura, seriously considered it, but wanted the cheapest/most economical form with Nav for the 62 mile commute.

I'm a poor college student working in retail so I'm naturally in the 0k-19k range. Luckily my dad hooked it up with a car.

29, military, about $48k in regular pay, but upwards of $60k+ by the way of per diem, hostile fire pay, stuff like that which is dependant on where, how much, and how often I'm on the road.

I somewhat of the same boat as 03Indigo. Many other things have a higher priority as far as where my money goes (investments, property, college funds for the next generation, etc.). I certainly could have gotten a much 'higher placed' vehicle than the Si. The Si is toy that will go back and forth to work a few times a week and is mostly for weekend fun.

I am a full time student and work in retail while in school and pull in a lil over 20K a year. Lucky for me I have nice parents so my actual income is prolly closer to like 30K a year:)

I'm 24 and I make 60k per year. I'd look into something nicer than the Si but my wife needs a new car too and without much saved up, we can't really afford it right now. So I'll get the Si next year when the lease on my 04 is up. Maybe after that I'll look at a BMW 3 Series. :)

That 100K to 499K bracket should have been broken out a bit. It is not uncommon in business/finance/merketing to be in the 100-250 range.

you realize that ppl who make alot are posting and ppl who arent making alot arent posting at all in this thread. therefore it will APPEAR like majority make alot but in reality that aint true. so itts better jes look at the poll and realize you aint alone :)
