I hate when that happens. Oh well, should be cheap to fix if it's not too close to the sidewall.

I had a blow out a few months ago....sucked ass cuz I was 50 miles from home with no money. Had to call my girl who was 80 miles away at work to come get me so I could get another tire....it wasn't a great feeling. She made me feel better later though

hehe...

The spare sucks. It's not a full size tire

I feel your pain. One of my tires was flat after only 600km. Must of hit something on the highway since there was a small gash in the sidewall. It sucks having to shell out cash for a new tire after only 600km.

How do people get the tires warrantied? Do you guys take them to tire pros and such or what?

Mine was not warrantied and I paid out of my own pocket for a new one. If it was caused by a defect in the tire, then yes they will warranty it, but since mine was the result of a puncture, there was no warranty coverage.

You would think the spare would have helped him in that situation...although it seems his GF helped him a bit better.
