Looks like a Z06 with a weird hood. What's the big difference here?

I'm guessing there's some sort of cowl induction thing going on. I don't imagine they're going to tune the SS for much more power than the Z06. It will probably be an appearance/handling package with a bit more power.

I have absolutely no knowledge of this project, I'm just venturing a guess here.

I've heard rumors of them being supercharged. Just rumors though, what else would the big cowl be for???

there's probably some sort of performance suspension and power upgrade (maybe the name stands for supercharged?)

The Si looks like a civic with a shiny exhaust and wing. (+ wheels and badges)

don't care for the hood, but a supercharged zo6 would be a sick ride!

I bet it will have a twin screw supercharger like RedShift is doing.

Eh it just doesn't make too much sense to me. The Z06 is already the best bang for the buck on the market. I don't really see Chevy making an even more expensive model, when the Z06 is already pushing 70k. With the new Camaro SS debuting next year, it doesn't make sense to keep throwing out performance models like that. I really think someone just threw on a big hood, snapped some pics and started a rumor (even though the rumor has been circulating for at least a year about the SS, blue devil, etc). Don't really expect to see this coming into the lineup ever. My 2 cents.
