Useless? You can pull up next to anything and take it. ANYTHING.
Impracticle, ugly, and uncomfortable, yes.

But on the reals, I don't think that the bugatti veyron is the fastest production car anymore.. I think koenigsegg took that feat just a few months later. I don't know if it's been tested yet, but more hp, more tq, half the weight?

Marc-o-lishuz started a thread about it a while back.

The 0-60 is correct, but the top speed for the Koenigsegg CCXR e-85 is rated at over 250 mph (+400kmh) and it weighs only 2601 lbs vs. the veyrons hefty 4162 lbs. The veyron will definitely beat if 0-60 because of the awd (0.7 seconds faster, which is a lot I know) but the top speeds are close and with the weight difference I would think that it would be a rundown with the koenigsegg. Of course this is all bench racing so wtf do I know? I'll probably never see either car in my life (short of catching an auto show).

Top Gear episode of the future, maybe? I hope so.

It seems you beat me to my own post.. but in your first unedited post I think that you had the top speed of the ccx, not the ccx-r. idk..

It's all good

you had me scrambling for specs and info on the veyron vs. the ccxr. That was actually pretty fun. I was googling both cars and looking back and forth and wondering who was right.. <--on google

I think that it would be close though.. the bugatti has more tq but less hp and weighs 1000+ lbs more. I would love to see it. =D
