Angry Someone threw something at my car!

Well, looks like today really is unlucky. (Friday the 13th) I get out of school one period early because i have enough credits for graduation, so i went home, and then went back out because i had to go to the doctor. I was passing the school, which is on the left, on the right, is a small shopping plaza and gas station where kids hang out during and after school. So as i passed the school and shopping plaza, someone at the shopping plaza threw something and it hit my car. I don't know what the object was, i only saw it out of the corner of my eye, but it looked yellow. It made a loud thud, and after i realized what had happened, i pulled into the gas station to looked to see who was at the plaza. There were about two dozen people scattered throughout the plaza, and i had no idea who threw the object, so i reported the incident to the local police who said i needed to come down to the station to file a report. In the meantime, i checked, and luckily, there is no damage! After my doctor's appt. i called my parents and told them what happened, and then i went to the police station to file the report. At the police station, they said since i did not see who did it and since there was no damage there was nothing that they could do, and that they are well aware of the problem that the school has with kids skipping class to go over there during the day and darting in front of oncoming traffic and causing trouble.

My parents and the police officer said it's not a big deal and not to worry about it, but it is a big deal, and it's the principal of the matter that no one has the right to f with my stuff. This is just very frustrating!!

the police dept should just post an officer over there for a while to help deter the kids... just my opinion though. glad to hear there was no damage :)

^^ agreed. There is no reason why those kids should be hanging out there, causing problems and the police know about it and do nothing. It'll become an issue when either a) one gets their butt beat for being a little tool with the wrong passer by or b) one gets hit by a car and their uninvolved parents then care and give a crap.

I passed what looked like a beer truck one night... Well it was a fire truck... The firemen threw his Yellow Helmet at my bumper and I ran it over breaking it into several peices.. NO Damage to my ride either.

Someone threw a bottle at my brothers 04 SE-R a few weeks after he bought it new. No damage, but still ***.

Why do people like to damage other peoples property?

Egged and hit & ran!!!

My girlfriend lives in the borough in a college town and I hate parking on the streets at night there. Sure enough, i came out one morning to find a half frozen exploded egg on my rear bumper.

Two weeks later, i'm out to grab some lunch and I run in to pick it up...I'm inside no more than 5 min, when i come out my drivers side rear corner bumper is dented in with a gash and the rear Aero kit piece is scratched to hell.

The real pisser is i made sure there was not a car on either side of me when i parked for fear of door dings, yet some @$$hole that had to be parked over 20 feet behind me backs up hard enough to majorly dent and scratch my bumper, then takes off scot-free.

My luck, there were no parking lot camera's. The only positive is that i took it to this body shop that hooks me up and wrote me a $2800 estimate. The insurance agreed on $2600 just based on pics of the car, less my $1000 deductible(f-ing collision instead of comprehensive). I now have least $500 to play with after getting my car fixed.

And thats basically turning a frown upside-down.

^^

I just don't understand the disrespect people have for other people's property. It's like you can never own anything nice because someone is going to mess it up, and that makes me so mad!

I fail to see how it is homosexual in nature....

I've had things thrown at my car before, but not in this car.

yeah, tonight i was at a friends house, i was parked parallel to the curb and in the middle of a camry and a bimmer 325. and i come out and find 2-3 eggs thrown at my car, one hit my driver door handle/window good and it took like 10 mins to get that crap off.

I swear i wanna find out who the hell did that cause i know it wasn't random and give them a beating.

Yeah I hate people who **** with other people's new car.

Within the first week of owning my LX, my friend decides to give me a super-gentle love tap at a stop sign, and three screws from his front license-plate put little impressions in my bumper.

About a week after that, I'm driving through my school parking lot and another "friend" sees me and decides to jump up and kick my car full force as a joke. I got out and saw no damage, but the next time I washed it, two scratches were pretty evident on it.
