Does the Canadian EX have trunk release on the key fob

Does the Canadian EX have trunk release on the key fob. In the brocher it says remote trunk release but i think they are talking about the one inside.

no, I have an EX and it doesn't have the trunk release on the key. For some reason it's only available on US models. Not sure why... but hey we get the heated mirrors and the US doesn't. weird...

True, but sometimes I think the trunk release on the key is more useful than the heated mirrors. It's not THAT often that our mirrors fog up/freeze up in Ottawa...and you'd only use the heated mirrors in the winter, when the trunk release is useful all year round! Also, were we supposed to get an AUX input too for the EX? XM radio another...

It's funny since my car is made in the US, but is stripped out of a few things that the US has that we don't.

The CSX has the trunk release on their keys, btw.

.... I know no one asked, but the EX here in Mexico do have the trunk release on the key, so not just US models. What we dont have is the auxiliary jack, too bad

I was think about buying the parts from hondapartsdeal.com and instailling it myself. How hard do you think it would be if possible. I have found the key fob but the not the thing for the release.
On honda.com in the specs. they mentions the trunk release and alarm in the same place, maybe if you get the alarm installed you get a new key fob with those on it, or do you think it would be an extra remote.
