Next car project.....Eary 70's firebird.
So I'm in the process of searching for a decent condition early 70's firebird to fix up. My dad owned two of them when he was my age so I know he'd love to have one around again. There are many different ratings for the hp on this car, but it is around 480 ft lbs of torque, and 410 horsepower, which can easily be pushed past 500 with just cams and tuning.
Here is a pic: ![]() Some awesome vids: This one is actually a formula with a swapped chevy 400, not the best engine but still cool. http://youtube.com/watch?v=CVBgubKtEpk This one is the actual Super Duty 455 engine, which is what I will be using. http://youtube.com/watch?v=QiBGaCfTFcQ |
