So I Sold My Si :(...

You read it correctly. I sold my Si. It was just too ugly and liberal in styling for me. I'm a conservative, straight-ticket Republican and my conservative buddies were getting on my nerves, telling me what a "liberal treehugger" car I was driving.

So I sold it to a dealership and bought a PT Cruiser. It drives so much nicer than the Si. Seriously. Why anyone would buy an Si over the Cruiser is beyond me. I'm getting mad props from this car, and the handling and gas mileage is beyond anything I've ever seen. The fit and finish on the inside blows the Civic out of the water.

It was nice guys!!

By the way, this is a complete lie.
I got a freaking PT Cruiser as my rental car and I'm embarassed to be seen in it. It is curerntly parked in the furthest spot away from my eyesight as it possibly can be, and within 5 minutes of driving it, my back was aching from the vinyl fabric like interior and excessive use of plastic.

Let's talk about acceleration. *cricket*. Precisely. There is none.

It's so bad, even the old woman who was getting a rental car from the Honda dealership (car in for warranty work) fought me for the other Ford Focus that they had to rent out. It was that or the PT, and she said "I'm not even old enough for this car; it's so ugly, give me the Focus" right before I could say "DEAR GOD GIVE ME THE FOCUS".

So for the next week I am the proud new driver of this sex-machine:

Talking

HA HA HA!! Funny stuff!

I hate Piece of Trash Cruisers (PT Cruisers)! There is this one stupid guy in my apartment complex that has one, and he is always playing stupid as techno music as loud as he can when he drives by!

I just want to push it off a cliff!!!

Sorry, today is monday, and I'm just in that mood!

My mouth dropped when I read the first half of your post them nearly feel off my chair reading how you got the fuzzy end of the lollipop by missing out on the craptastic Focus and getting stuck with the PT Loser!!!

It could be worse, what if you go stuck with a Pontiac Aztec?!

I would rather. I actually like the later generations of the Aztek. I never thought they were as ugly as everyone else did.

It's a step up from the PT in my opinion

A guy at my work recently got one. Seems alright, not my cup of tea though. He just came from a CR-V he killed. Though he was very happy with the Honda as he said he treated it like a commercial vehicle.

Only thing I can outright complain about on the PT is the rear seats, the seat closest to the door on each side has no support. It just ends and there is a gap between it and the door. As one of my dad's friends said about old barges back in the 70's, that is where you keep your pet cow.

I drove a PT 2.4L Turbo Convertible once as a rental car. It was cool up until I sat inside it. Turning on the ignition made it worse.

I don't mind the interior layout, I think it's unique and kind of cute, but the materials are definaetly underpar.

Also, the seats lack any form of comfort or support while driving.
