TWO 2008 Honda Accords Spotted!!!

Sup guys! I got to work today (I live in Ohio BTW) and spotted TWO 2008 Honda Accords driving by on the highway next to my work! They were both white, heavily taped, and driving right behind each other. For those of you who don't know, I live very close to Marysville, Ohio, which is where Honda has some manufacturing plants. My dad actually works in the Honda R&D building, so he's gotten to see some pretty cool cars before they even come out. So, every once in a while, I get to see some concepts. About 4ish years ago, Honda actually made an Accord convertible at the R&D building there! (or so it was rumored), but they took it and crunched it in the car grinder bc Honda's R&D guys didnt like it. Anyway, I wish I could have gotten pics of the '08 Accords before they were gone bc I would have posted them! But cool anyways! They looked awesome!

I talked to the Enterprise man, who owns an Acura, and he said those photos of that blue Acura looking Honda is pretty similar to how it looks.

He said it is pretty similar-looking to the Civic; loves it he says.

He also said photos got released online a few weeks ago, but I've yet to see any.

I imagine it will look very similar to the coupe concept that has been in the press for awhile now.

Yeah- even though they were taped up pretty heavily, I could tell that they looked a lot like the concept accord. The front was very rigid- sharp lines. The back was very rounded and curved. It looked just like the concept. Actually, the side lines looked a little like the civics. But it looked good.

I'm kind of torn between the sedan and coupe accord... I almost might like the 4 door counterpart better, which is good because that's the one my grandpa will get.
However, overall, I think the lines of the sedan are fresh and original. It doesn't quite look like the current gen or any other car out there for that matter. It is a bit more acura-ish, and has the rear of a tsx, but I think the fron end of the coupe feels too boxy and edgy.

Not to say I don't like them both.

It doesn't look quite as big as Accord models from recent years? Has anyone seen specs or pics of the interior?

Yeah they're not very attractive, but living in Texas it's unique, so I keep them on. I'm probably the only one in Allen with Ohio plates. I think my g'rents live in Huntsville, or they did anyway, and used to live in Russells Point on Indian Lake. Now they live on some County Road 53 out in the Country about 5 mins from the Upper Scioto Valley High School. My other g'rents live in Upper Arlington so we comute back and forth between them. I go up there every Christmas and Summer, so by the next time I'm up there they should have the new Accord. I'm stoked. I might get to drive it. My other g'rents live in Upper Arlington so we comute back and forth between them.
