Floor mat anchor hook

I can't seem to "hooK" the floot mat through the two holes using floor anchor hook. The holes on the floor mat sit about 1cm too much toward the front....

You have to hook the back first and then slide the front of the mat in. It is kind of awkward.

Yeah,
I've already broken one when I was removing my salt encrusted floor mat last week to clean. I'm not at all impressed with the cheapness of the various hooks, fasteners and other hardware on the interior. I used to get slammed all the time for having a 2000 Neon, that it was a cheap POS, but I never had things just break off when doing something as mundane as removing a floor mat.

you need a longer hook for the winter mats. check that your dealer installed them.

Yeah those little floormat things piss me off too. Pain in the ass to remove and put the floormats back!. Plus when you remove the floor mat its such a pain in the ass cuz all the dirt and sh!t winds up in the carpet.

Personally I don't ven bother with the hooks because they are a bitch to hook onto. I just leave the mats in place on their own. They fit perfectly and don't move around at all. The hooks are not really even needed.
