wassup everybody..got a call from my dealer today and my 06 black si came in today....but!..some bad news....when they were unloading it off the truck...one fo the unloaders got the driver side fender scratched up..nothing big.....and now its being sanded down and sent ot the paint room and all and should be ready tomamrow....how much discount do u think i can get out of it??? =D

Ask them for something like a freebe first oil change or a free accessory. Enjoy your new car and post some pics.

I wouldnt take the car.

a repainted panel makes the car worth less then a mint one.

ask for a deep discount to make up for its depreciated value or wait for another one.

yeah i went over to to the dealer a week later and he siad they going to give me a new one...and sent the old si back...so im getting my brand new civic si tonight...will post some pics of all blacked out si....=D

Your dealer was able to exchange your damaged vehicle with an identical new one within a few days? Dang. Mine's struggling just to be able to get me one (as specced) in the first place.

mmm are you sure that's not the same damaged car
it was to quick for a exchange considerin that there is a backorder list for the Si's... and its supposed that you should take your Si the next day that it arrives.... its suppouse that the dealer has to have the invoice... or the VIN number of that car ready for you... do u get it after the call of your delaer?
i have some friends in a dealer and they said that when some costumers just want to fix something that isnt function anormal, they just take the car to the service room and let it there by 2-3 days... just parked... then when the costumer returns... they gave it the car and told that the problem was fixed... the costumer check it and by magic they said that now its ok


so maybe your dealer just tell ya that ur gonna recive a new one... and just repaint and fix the fender.... and tell ya that its a new one....

its only an apoint if that helps you

yeah they fixed the probem...sanded it down and repainted it....and then told me they fixed it..but i didnt want it...cuase i want it fresh new...so i told him i want a new one..but u might be rite they might have lied and gave me the same one....but i got the vin number just in case....cause when i ordered mine in november...they gave me the vin around beginning of december..but htantks for tellin me...im oging to ask again and check to make sure when i pick it up tonight =D
