Question Cargo dimensions of Honda Pilot

Hey guys, I'm pretty sure I've read that some people here have a Pilot and I'm hoping someone can help me out. My wife is borrowing one from her work this weekend so we can move some things to our new place. Anyway, I searched online and all I can find is the cubic footage for cargo room, but not the actual length, height, and width dimensions. Some of the things we wanted to move include a love seat and component rack. I'd like to know the dimensions of the pilot's cargo area with the seats down so I can see if these things will fit, or if I'll have to wait for a Uhaul truck to move them. I'm not sure what year the Pilot my wife is borrowing is, but I'm pretty sure they're all fairly close in size, or am I wrong there? I checked the 2003 and 2006 models and they're within 2 cubic feet of each other.

Thanks in advance!

If you can't find out here, go to your local dealer with a tape measure and take some measurements. If they ask questions, you're just browsing for your next vehicle. If the Pilot isn't big enough, measure an Element and then demo that for the weekend.

That's not a bad idea about measuring one at a dealership. But I'm lazy and I was hoping someone around here had one and could tell me. Does this mean I might have to get off my ass and do something?!

My wife has a 2006 Pilot...I'll measure and post the results when she gets home from work tonight.

2006 Pilot EXL

Width of trunk opening - 4' 1"
Height of trunk opening - 3'
Length to front seats - 6'

I measured only the trunk opening dimensions because that will be your chokepoint (once you get past the opening, you gain more space).

Also, you'll gain some extra space in length if you push up the seats.
