The lines look better, but lets get real. Honda needs more modern transmissions, the Si needs a new motor, and the interior needs a heavy revamp. Also bring back the old suspension setup of the 8ths.

I really like it.
Key selling points for me:

Attractive--it's sleek with a modern look and nice curves
Reliable--this is an assumption, but it's a Honda and goes with brand equity
Affordable--around $20,000. That's good for the average American whether they be a first time driver (first car), recent college graduate (first car financed by themselves), or a middle income family. Also fuel efficient and runs on 87 octane.

I would definitely considering buying one because it fits my needs for a secondary car.

Lol. It's too early for a 10th gen.

It's interesting how the 9thgens 1st look is only lasting 1 year while the 8thgens lasted for ~4 years (2006-2009).

It failed inspection (2 engine codes). My local mechanic reset the codes and told me to drive around for a few days to see if they reappear. It might not be worth fixing. I recently got rear ended while parked and the other person's insurance paid me out almost as much as I bought the car for, so I'm not too worried about what happens. A bit of chrome and a tweak to the fender lines? My God, What is that?
The 8th still looks better and just about every new model from Ford, Hyundai, Kia, Subaru, VW, and Scion, look better too. I could forgive them if the car actually had some innovative performance enhancements, but this is an obvious attempt at CYA because they screwed up.

Looks like they just slightly updated the exterior on the 9th gen, the chassis and internals are probably identical. The main difference will probably interior quality, isn't that what they got in trouble for?

Lol, I feel sorry for all the poor bastards who bought the 2012. If nothing else, the new exterior looks way nicer IMO. Hopefully they make similar improvements to the interior.

As someone else pointed out, they really need to update the headlights, at least to projector halogens. It took driving my dad's 8th gen Accord at night after months of driving my TL with bi-xenons for me to realize just how awful reflector halogens are.

I really like the change actually. Cant wait to see what the Si is gonna look like.

Still not a fan of the interior tho.
