So my g/f wrecked her car

I want to know how much money you guys think she can get for it. The damage estimate is like 2300. I've been waiting for her to get a copy of it, so I can't show it to you guys either, sorry.

She's had an offer for 250, but that sounds low to me. I was hoping we could get 500 out of it.

Keep the car and part it out. You'll get close to almost a grand or more. Lot's of people want clean parts on their EG's. Does that one have a black interior? Part it out...you may think that people only want aftermarket parts or whatever but there are people out there who bought POS EGs and is/are trying to restore it (I.E. Altezzas, etc) and some just want used parts for their engines just to make it at least work for another year or so before slapping a new engine or tc/sc.

EBAY/CRAIGLIST/HONDA FORUMS. People will buy your:

Bumpers
Fenders
Lights
Interior
Engine/Engine Parts

** Almost everything except the frame.

Originally, our plan was to part it out. The problem is, we have nowhere to keep it while we do that. Right now, it's sitting at a dealership because they towed it from the accident. We live in an apartment complex, and I doubt the apartment folks would be happy with a non-driveable car frame sitting in their pretty parking lot. I also doubt that dealership would allow us to sell parts off the car while it sits on their property.

Its kind of a greyish blue interior. And yeah, she's ok.

You could rent a storage unit for a month. I think the cost of the unit would be worth it to get an extra $500+

my buddy had the exact same car.

it was a 95 SI and he wrote it off. Not as good condition as that though. Ended up getting $5200 from the insurance company.

It looks like its just a door and a fender, and a mirror. I would stop by a junk yard. Maybe they even have it in your color.

Donate it to salvation army, you can write it off on your taxes at sell value.

Cars are replaceable and i mean at least the car wasnt brand new so look on the brightside what if it was your new SI now that would suck.

Yeah, believe me, it's made me drive a LOT more careful lately. Also reminded me it's not always me that I've got to watch out for, it's the other guy.

The one she wrecked was an automatic DX. She has since gotten a manual EX. So, its worked out for the best. We just want to get some money out of her old car.

Sell value, you mean like blue book value?
