Honda Presidential Mistake

I just saw a commercial for the Honda President's Day Sale or something.

They showed the Pilot, Ridgeline, and Accord, and then they showed the Civic, and from what I saw, it definately, definately was not an 8th gen Civic.

It was for new models...just kinda struck me as odd.

Anyone else see this or know why?

well, after honda put the fit in front of the civic and s2000, and the ridgeline behind the oddysey in the superbowl commercial I sort of lost faith in their marketing department.

any youtube link to the commercial?

I haven't checked, it was just a promotional 0% APR on select models kinda commercial.

Kinda disappointed in all the Civic commericials, except the one like, with the voting. That was okay, but...

I dunno. The whole not using the current model year Civic was like, a huge thing.

Its not like they've been having a problem selling the civic and CR-V, right now the hard cars to sell are the bigger ones, although I was talking to the salesman the other day, and right now he is basically killing time until march.

However, the hybrids are not moving at all...

btw, has anyone seen this add

Maybe they recycled an old commercial and no one noticed that Civic was 'old school'?

Kevin, yeah, it was definately a red Civic, but I only got a glimpse of it for a flash of a second.

I swear it looked like the outgoing model.
