might be just the intake you are hearing...sounds like it to me anyway...if he has an aftermarket exhaust, we probably don't hear it since the vid is from the front.

As for the lifting...probably on stock or soft aftermarket springs.

meh. i can think of a lot of 4 bangers that also sound awesome.

im biased towards boosted engines tho. turbos make everything sound better

^yes. You wouldn't be able to hear the exhaust regardless. It happened to be stock at the time of this vid though. On the intake was just an open stock airbox. Stock suspension too... lots of the lifting was also because the road often peaks and you can't see far enough ahead to safely stay on the throttle!!

I love the sound of my 100% stock SI all over the rpm range so don't get me wrong, but does anyone else dislike the way these motors sound idling?

you are hearing your fuel injectors most likely.. they are loud and sound like valves tickin
