road side emergency

What tools and stuff do you keep in the trunk for road side emergencies? I have a long roadtrip this summer comming up and I want to start slowly buying stuff for those little inconviencies that might crop up.

I got a whole bad full of stuff. Usually you can find automotive "emergency" kits at places like Target or Autozone.

I bought a auto emergency kit from Costco several years back. It was about $30. It's got a crappy set of jumper cables, a crappy flashlight with batteries (which are definately dead by now), a couple of fold out reflective triangles, a blinking red LED belt clip light, a glow stick, an reflective safety vest, work gloves, rubber gloves, a can of tire puncture foam, bandages, an emergency blanket and a whole bunch of other miscellaneous stuff. I've probably only ever opened it once or twice in all these years, and never used anything in it.

flashlight, zipties, rag, first aid kit, duct tape, air pressure gauge, xacto knife, some tools (10mm, 12mm, pliers).

ive been meaning to get gloves, a blanket and jumper cables.

also notice that nobody said fix 'n' flat.. i used to have them in my del sol, at least 4 can. I got rid of a spare tire.

LOL a first aid kit form my BMWin case i hurt my finger fron dialing my cell and a credit card!

jumper cables, flashlight, triangles, fix a flat, lock de-icer, caution tape (only cause my friends put it there and i never removed it)
