How is putting performance mods on a car rice? Rice is Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancements. Intakes and exhausts actually serve a purpose and are not used primarily for looks, but for performance.

And for the record, Im not trying to show hostility. You're entitled to your opinion, I'm just sayin you should pick a different word than "rice". Stupidity maybe? Lol

Good point. While intake/exhaust may not be rice exactly, i also dont consider them performance parts because they dont create power, they just free up a few hp from the engine your car shipped with and are generally not cost-efficent when compared to the far superior turbo. I also agree that stupidity is the perfect word

You could say a turbo isn't a performance part, but a power adder. You could also say that the turbo free's up potential power of the engine. This is a for lawyers to argue backed by lots and lots of money.

Shouldn't anything that makes your car perform better, be a performance part?

Yes. The intakes/exhausts I was talking about were the annoying as fart cans on rust bucket CRXs, not ones that actually do something and aren't unreasonably loud. Majority of the parts made for more modern cars like 8ths, STis, etc aren't annoying at all, but very beneficial. Modding cars isn't stupid, modding distastefully is.

that is a factory SE-R badge. Nissan made Sentra SE-R's for a year before Honda came out with any kind of Type R
