Another chip on the Si. What to do?
I don't know how the heck this happened but it did. No pics yet, maybe tomorrow.
Basically I was on the highway and TT whizzes by and I hear a very loud bang on the left side. I thought "darn". So after I get out of the car and notice nothing cause I thought it happened on the lower side, but low and behold, right beside the rear...yes REAR lights, there a fingernail sized chip that's been ripped off. I don't how rocks fly like that, but it happened. It ate down to the bare metal. I'm taking the car in for bumper respray and right side quarter panel dent lifted out. If I ask the bodyshop to touch it up, will it look equivalent to cow dung? Would it be tough to blend it in or will be too much work = $$? Gosh, this tiny paint chip is really getting to me! Help! The Si turns me into a freakin' freak! ![]() |

Get it repaired but remember things like these always happen. It happens to everyone but there is no need to be stressed or mad about it. Theres nothing anyone can do about it, it happened now fix it and leave it as is. Like with women looks can not hold with age no matter what you do.
