I love ABS and my Performance All Season's!

Like for instance today driving home on the highway, going about 130km/hr with someone not too far behind me at a similar speed driving near the exit/entrace lanes as I was getting off soon. Anways, on the entrace ramp before my exit, some tool decides that instead of waiting for the fast cars who are like 100m behind you who are already on the highway get right of way, he's going to forgo the lessons they teach you on your first highway day at any driving school and go in front of my car!

It gets better, he does this, and in a panic, pulls back about 2 feet, not the whole way and STOPS his car completely! Now I mentioned my tires in the beginning because the road today was completely soaked and it was picking up the water with the tires or whatever you call that. So now we have a wet road and about 100m to stop and ppl in the next lane preventing an emergency manouever.

So thanks to my goodyear tripple treads and the ABS (as if i bought something like a corolla or a mazda 3 w/o it when choosing the car) I was able so safely stop in time.

Well just a lesson for everyone - my cell rang just before/at the same time, but since I pay attention for the possibility of crazy drivers rather than answering my cell I increased my chance of stopping.

+1 on the cell phone thing. If you had answered it you may have rear ended him.

It is sad, it is too often when you see someone driving erratically and you pull along side and surprise they are on their cell!
