Previous Jeep owners...

Before I had the Si, I had a 2002 Jeep Wrangler X. This was absolutely the best vehicle I have ever owned and was so much fun to drive and wheel. The only reason I got rid of it was because it wasn't practical for a daily driver when I changed jobs (2" lift, 32" Mud Terrains, soft top, etc.). Well now I'm pretty upset that the ultimate Wrangler has been released. I probably would have bought this instead of the Si if it had been available. It's just awesome. I mean, what other vehicle has 4 doors and a convertible and has removable doors?

not to bash on it but it's personal preferences here.
As far as my own i'd keep my mouth shut since nothing good will come out from it.
but yeh as far as yours well who wouldn't resist to a convertible jeep with removable doors

$28,235 for the rubicon unlimited... whew. I don't know. I'll admit jeeps are a lot of fun, but I couldn't pay that for a jeep that I'd want to take off roading.

gas MPG is another issue. You know it'll be in the 18 range... but it is what it is. Jeeps are great to rip the doors off and let the top down.

I like the look of the new unlimited quite a bit. There was a Speed Channel 'Test Drive' with it about a week back.

I have owned two jeeps.

(1) a 1976 Jeep CJ7 Renegade Levis edition. Loved it...all 9mpg of it. lol.

(2) My current trail basher. 1989 Jeep Wagoneer. 4" BJ's lift. Procomp wheels and Procomp 31X10.5 mud terrains, etc., etc. (other silly stuff that costs more than the old jeep is worth, heh)

Im not feeling the new jeep. Too long for me, looks odd. I prefer the one pictured above.

word. My girlfriend liked jeeps. But every two minutes you see one, in my town. I finally convinced her to get a 97 Pathfinder SE. Good choice because it rocks off road. Limited slip too!

I love jeeps, I'm happy they haven't changed much since WWII.

Not really a big fan of the new 4 door wrangler, but i'd love an older one, just to have a 4x4 to screw around with and keep the si inside on snowy days.

Still got my Jeep....its my Winter DD so i dont have to beat on the SI and my weekend warrior/beater.

Hardly stock...sits on 35's, 4.88s, spooled rear, front detroit, 6" RE lift, and a few other goodies....

This one took ALOT of skill!!
