That sucks. Why can't people just be happy that you bought a car you love.

At least it wan't on you.....

I've been there.......the best is when someone leaves you a NOTE under the wipers to tell you how much you suck......for something......

The worst ever is being spit AT.....happened to me twice, in two similar towns: Spokane, WA & Columbus, OH. Always the same gig, 4-8 of them, one of you. Gotta play the odds.

Its suprising the things these trashballs will do because they are jealous of your car. Messing with another man's car is equivilant to molesting his wife imo.

It just goes to show that you cannot have anything nice. I always feel uneasy about parking my car anywhere except in my garage.

Same feeling here!! I'm afraid of morons flinging their doors into our doors/body panels, renegade shopping carts and rustang & screaming chicken muscle car hominids getting too close.

We got allots of jealous individual out there. Remember, there allots lay-off from GM, Ford, etc.... Those individual have anger in there mind when they see Honda, Toyota or any foreign car out there on the street. Some ass-hole bang on the side of the car last week. I have to kick the shit out him with my martial art. 95% time I'm a peaceful person. But when your precious being violated, kick-ass time.

PS, for any reason, don't get your car repair at GM, Ford, Chev....etc. Bestly near the plant that shutting down. They having anger for foreign car.

That sucks because Honda, Toyota, etc. have factories over here with Americans building their cars.

There will be haters no matter what you do. Whether you have a $20,000 Si or $300,000 Murcielago, some asshole will want to rain on your parade just for the sake of being a dick. Sucks that it happened, but luckily there was no real damage.

On a serious note:
I know how frustrating this is because I can't bring my 1972 Ford Torino CobraJet anywhere at night to park for more than an hour without someone doing something like spitting. *breathe*

I think it's because of envy. Not jealousy, envy. [They] do these minor heinous crimes to prove to the world that their emo-lives are full of hate.

i parked my Si in downtown last night for the Mariah concert in a well-lit area, and i had a pretty big spot so i was content. when i return to my car, some cheap-ass Ford Contour is less than 3 inches from my front bumper. i was soooo pissed because there's no way he could get in without hitting my front bumper. sure enough, i saw some scratches this morning. good thing i took pictures of his car and license plate with my phone cam. i'll call my insurance company and see what they can do. i'm sure someone could just buff it out because only the clearcoat was scratched... but still. people just don't care about your belongings.

WRT domestic auto production: I was scanning Webby's post of Honda history and I was quite surprised at how early they began production in the US (LOL - probably before many on this board were conceived). But, the point is that they have been _exporting_ from the US for a long time as well, something that I heard we were not doing enough of...

People need to focus on what the real problems are and make adjustments. Bottom line is that good management + good labor results in a good product that people want. What is different in the Honda America solution vs. the domestics?

Due to the recent news, my guess is that the effect of labor unions is considered adverse by Ford. We know that Americans can build good products (my Accord, Tundra and Civic were all US built).

I don't know, but people need to seek the truth starting from within. If they are angry they need to focus on finding out why and work hard to resolve it and leave the rest of us alone. BTW - spitting on someone is considered a form of assault in many places..

IMHO

It's a pain in the a$$ always havin' to worry about where I'm parking my car just because a small group of a$$hole$ can't conduct themselves in the proper manner around other peoples' property (Why can't everyone just be down w/ O.P.P???).

Example, I parked outside of a club one night, and when I came back out I found that some girl (I'm assuming here, but I could be wrong...don't flame me ladies) poured some fruity lotion down almost the entire passenger door of my car. And, this was NO accident unless the lotion bottle somehow spotaneously exploded while next to my car door. I had to use my shirt to clean it up, so the rest of the night I've got a shirt that looks as if it's full of spooge stains...Long story short, no lovin' from the ladies that night.
