i heard that some car company is making a new "car" that is ment for neighborhood driving and goes 25 mph tops. supposidly its gonna be sold for 12k yes $12,000 for practically a glorified golf cart with a auto manufacturer's badge on it.

i'm just getting around to reading these posts, and before i even got 5 posts down, i was saying wtf. most of you completely misunderstood the title of this thread. this isnt 'vehicles you hate' or 'vehicles you would never own'. i'm talking about vehicles that make you go "are you kidding me?" somebody put down the prius, and a couple people put down the srt-4? um, how do those cars match the title of this thread? i'm talking about highly impractical, overpriced, insanely huge/small, etc. read the op example.

i was really looking forward to reading all the posts too, but it appears people are just putting down vehicles they dislike, which in reality are perfectly normal everyday vehicles. not what i was talking about. i don't mean to sound so rude, but seriously, how can you misinterpret "don't make any sense and/or are completely ridiculous" to mean regular everyday vehicles that sell well? i wouldn't be surprised if this thread is also now filled with pointless debates over which perfectly normal car is better. i might remake this thread in the future with a better explanation.

I agree with you completely. There are a few good examples listed in this thread, but most of the cars listed are purpose built. They may not be purposely directed at most of the people on this site, but still have very good reason to be on the road. For instance, if you listed a van/suv as a vehicle that doesn't make sense, you need to venture out in life a little bit more.

Ya, I'm done with this thread that I created. Most people COMPLETELY don't get it. I tried, but people insist on putting down extremely normal mass production cars that thousands and thousands of people own. For the last time, I was talking about vehicles that ACTUALLY don't make sense, not just ones you think are "***" or "look dumb".

How about that $20,000 tiny car that has a top speed of 30 mph, yet still only gets 35 mpg or so? Ya, I guess that car has nothing on something like a BMW X6; the BMW X6 is much more impractical, right?
