buying a demo model?

So I'm looking at getting an '06 Accord, a new one, a few still on the lot. Anyway, they have an '06 Accord V6-L with the 6 speed manual and navi, but it was a demo unit, it has about 6k on it and they marked it down from the orgina $29k to $23k. What do you guys think of this deal?

sounds like a good deal, but it was probably beat to shit by a bunch of kids pretending they were actually interested in it.

Was it a managers demo car or a test drive car? If it was the managers demo car, jump on it. My mom was going to buy a 6spd accord managers demo till she called her dealer and got the same car brand new for 7k under MSRP.

Its a blast to drive, very comfy, and A LOT of power for its weight.

Regardless of being whose demo, I'd jump on it and claim EVERY POSSIBLE WARRANTY immediately! That's a really sweet mark down.

That's not a bad deal. Hell of a lot better than what my friend was offered for a demo 06 Eclipse. They offered to deduct $300-400 CDN on a demo that already had like 5000 Kms already. My mouth dropped when he told me. Ridiculous offer. Obviously, he didnt take it.

I honestly don't think most kids that are looking to beat the crap out of a demo car would ask for the large accord over a civic. Sounds like a good deal, I'm sure the Stig would approve as well.

As long as you get the factory warranty and it has been gone over, I'd say that's a good price. Lower than Carsdirect can do by $2k on a new one, and lower than Kelly/Nada Guide by $$2k to $3K as well (used retail).

sorry I was out for a day, but I drovet that car, and it just semed to big for me. So I've opped togo for a 2006 Accord Coupe they had setting on the lot. It's got the V6 and has all the same options, but no navi and an auto. (Booo for the auto, but it's still fast). Anyway, they're giving me that car for $22k and it's brand new, plus I like the styling better.

they're still making money. IF they can mark down that car that much, then they can def do it on a new car as well.

demo's beem BEAT to death...how do I know? cuz i had demos for a while. 10miles on the odo and redlining and brake checking...

lol DON'T GO FOR A DEMO...you will be asking for trouble

LX V6? Carsdirect on that, with incentives is a tad over $22K so that is a really good price.

No, that's the EX-L, not the LX. I was bit surprised they went that low too. But they did. I guess Honda has some huge rebates on the 06's. But hey won't tell me how mucht he rebates are and I can't find them online anywhere... So I'm betting they are still making plent off the car.
