RSX or SI?

Thinking about getting an rsx, but then found out about the SI. What is the better choice and why ? Almost same in the price. Thanks all

I might be a little biased considering I have an SI, but go with the SI. Everyone and their mother has an RSX, Im so sick of that car. Thank god Acura stopped making it!

vanilla bean or French vanilla?

There are pro's/cons for both. I wanted navi and an LSD plus my sis has an RSX-S. Make a list of pros/cons for both and then we'll see what your priorities are.

si = more of a driver car
rsx = more of a nice car.

What I mean is you have luxury options (leather, etc.) that you don't have with the si. With the si you have performance (lsd, etc.) that you don't have with the rsx.
Don't even ask which one is faster.. every rsx owner says one thing, every si owner says another.

sickyute himself is pretty much R&D'ing any new part he can come across. Yes, there are parts, though they seem a little "slow" in coming. That said, there's a bevy of RSX parts we can also use.

Personally, if the RSX had an LSD, I'd go for it. Since it doesn't, and the Civic's styling is so bleeding edge, I'd go for the Civic. The only thing I want from an RSX is the leather interior. Styling's awesome, but then, so is the Civic's.

Pretty much the same car except rsx has leather and si has lsd. Obviously styling is different. Si is a new design and rsx is being discountinued. I would go with the si because it is "hotter" right now. It all depends on what you like, if your a guy that likes to own a luxury car, then rsx, if not, then si.

Let's not forget the Z3 is a superior engine regardless of what the RSX owners may think.

RSX = luxury and a girl's car(most of rsx drivers are girls if u think about it)
Si = Performance and looks good

i had an 04 rsx type s before my si...theyre both great cars....similar engines and all...the Si has a much better interior comfort and quality wise...and its got that new factor...i really like my si more than the type s...its got a better stock sound system too....

okay this might me a stupid question.. I know the new Si's have LSD, and the rsx's dont.. what good is LSD for anyways. I know it improves something with turning or something with the wheels. And i know it does not improve racing in any way unless you are crazy enough to do sharp turns or whatever. can someone give me an example or a situation that we would need LSD? or what it does and improves?

its actually quite noticeable...better launches...better aceleration out of the turn...all the lsd does is put more traction down on the tire with most grip...so lets say your making a sharp right...itll put more power down to your left tire to help push you through and out the turn..

ohh i see, makes sense, thanks for clearing that out, now i can see why its one of the deciding factors when choosing a type-si or Si for most people.

When I was looking to get a new car I was between the Type-S and the Si and something that was a concern for me was the insurance. I know that you will pay a lot more on insurance for the Type-S Vs. the Si.
