What do you guys think about the 2007 eclipse gt? vs SI

I was looking at the GT too, but I went with the Si. The Si is a little smaller, which I like and it has Navi as an option... Best Navi on the market I might add...
I had a 2001 Eclipse GS it was a dog, had poor quality in everything, just yuck!
My 2003 Civic Ex was soo much nicer than the Eclipse, IMO.

On the other hand it has more HP under the hood for around the same weight as the Si.

Personally for me it's Honda all the way

Wow, that's a tough car to call. To some it looks nice, to others bloated, heavy and unwieldy. I like the looks of the GT in certain colors. Power is nice, but the car is pretty heavy weighing in at just shy of 3500lbs (vs. the Si @ 2877lbs)

Am I missing something or is it missing an LSD?

Eclipse is a nice looking car, but Mitsu NA will be broke soon. Who will fix the car then???

yeah get the eclipse... and if you found an si in the road try to race it... ull be like "WHY IN THE WOLD I BROUGHT THIS CAR OVER THE SI" see my thread.

Eclipses are crap

Except the 99 Gen GSX and GST those are one hell of a car... not a girls car either imo.

Obviously you will get comments that the si is better on this forum. I don't have an si so i can "almost" be unbias. In a nutshell, the eclispe is a faster car, weighes as much as midsize luxury sedans and has a crazy sound system. It uses a lot more gas due to the 3.6 or 3.8(can't remember). Also mitsu is heading for bankrupcy.
So if you want something street fast with lots of torque, get the gt. If you want a high reving 4banger made for the track, get the si.

ah..gt 4cylnder is 2.4 and the gtv6 is 3.6...

The new eclipse looks like 2 audi tt's imbred and had an ugly bastard son. That is not my opinion, it is a fact.
I haven't been behind the wheel of a new eclipse yet so I can't say much on how it drives, but the last gen eclipse was a pretty fun fat thing. I like the way the interior looks personally, but I can't stand the exterior.
