well ive talked to my dealer manager and we had a good old time trying to convince my mom to get and s2k and my uncle is getting the hybrid so he said hes gon to try to give us a discount... as for the price, he said there is going to be a markup of about $1000-$1500

but thats not that bad.. he said hes going to "hook us up" lol yea we'll see. ive got a bunch of people in my neighborhood that have the sedans already and i think 1 coupe and ive talked to a couple of them and they have warned me of some dealers and assured me the best service and others so i dunno

dealer markup is one thing - pricing is another.

I can't say that a dealership won't try to sell it for ABOVE MSRP, but I'm just saying MSRP should still be below 20 like stated.

A few dealerships were listing auctions on ebay for MSRP price, so I think if one dealers is trying to sell it for MORE than MSRP - there is another dealership that's willing to sell it for MSRP - walk away.

I do think they can have the Si for under 20k, the 05 ex coupe was 1400 less than the 05 Si, so 1.8k seems reasonable for the upgrade from the 06 ex to the 06 Si. I'm hoping anyways :)

There have been so many sources stating under $20k, some of which are credible, so I'm expecting to see it price accordingly. Even though MSRP may be close for the EX and Si, the invoice price may be a bit higher for the si, which is why we'll probably see Si prices hover around MSRP while EXs begin to "sell" for quite a bit less. Sure, the profit margin may not be as high for the Si, but Honda has made it a point in the past to price the Si pretty aggressively.
