The results were underwhelming: 0 to 60 in 7.1 seconds, the quarter-mile in 15.5 seconds at 92 mph, 0.83 g on the skidpad, and 70-to-0-mph braking in 169 feet. Another GLI was in the field for our 2006 10Best Cars event last month, and it didn't make the cut.
