A huge wheel manufacturer makes OE wheels? Unpossible.

The Si rims are made by Alcoa Wheel.

Enkei has aftermarket and OE divisions, and Honda does source wheels to Enkei.

FYI, BBS also makes OE wheels (including JDM S2000 wheels). Most major aftermarket wheel companies also have an OE division, however they wheels are still built to that customers specifications.

I was more or less making a joke. BBS has been making OE wheels, especially for European brands, for decades.

Gotcha.

And thanks to the sudden popularity of the E30 chassis, the German E30 BBS wheels have gone way up in price!

BBS makes almost every VW wheel along with Ronal. BBS created the new wacky design of a wheel on the new golf GTI called the Huf's that are engineered with hollow wheel arches to reduced rotating mass without compromising BBS streangth in a low pressure cast wheel.

Alcoa wheels huh?
Alcoa Wheel Products

No wonder they look like flowers. They have no clue how to make car wheels because they don't make any.

Actually Alcoa is a HUGE wheel company with a larger research group than most of the aftermarket wheel manufacturers. They also are NASCAR, SCCA, and other race car manufacturers. Jay Leno contracts out custom wheels for his projects.
