2010 Honda Civic Type R

Well i was bored here at home and decided to see what Honda has in store for us Americans in 2010 when the refresh is due for our cars... What i found interested me and these are some photos that i saw as well...

The specs call for a 2.0 litre engine giving out 220 horsepower in a sedan form. Apparently the angular form of the European type r car was not designed with the USA in mind.

If any of this is true, i would more than happily turn in the keys to my 2008 Si and get this sedan Type R, i wouldnt care if it was in sedan form and didnt come in a hatch or 2 door coupe version.

Its pretty unlikely that we'll see the Type R here for a while, we got the Mugen instead.

But we can always hope.
