You're going to have to be more specific. What has the highest top speed? I believe it's still the busa. But it will get eaten around a track by lots of other bikes.

The Ducati Desmosedici RR is about as close as you get to a race bike that's road legal. I would put my money on it beating pretty much anything else commercially available around a GP track.

If you're looking for a bike to purchase for yourself, I would offer two pieces of advice:
1) Don't. If you have to ask, you don't belong on one yet.
2) Any of the Japanese 1 liter bikes will do.

The new 08 Busa is rated at 194 horsepower weighing 485 pounds dry. The Ducati Desmosedici RR is rated at 197 horsepower weighing 400 pounds dry. With a couple more horsepower and saving 85 pounds, you really still think the Busa is faster in a straight line?

It depends on how the DRR is geared.

Suzuki Hayabusa 194 hp, 485 lbs, 186 mph
Kawasaki ZX-14 197 hp, 485 lbs, 186 mph
Ducati 1098R 180 hp, 364 lbs, 186 mph
MV Agusta F4 1078 RR 312 190 hp, 194 mph, 423 lbs
Ducati Desmosedici RR 197 hp, 377 lbs, 195+ mph

Of course the 186 ones are speed limited, but out of the box the Desmosedici RR is fastest, especially if you toss in off the line accel and some turns.
