It's not the brakes that suck. It's the pads.....

Just an FYI.

What's the price on either size rotor with the 4 piston caliper? Six is overkill.

If theyre good enough for skittles, they're good enough for me. :P

I'm interested, but I've got 19" rims. Any idea if I'll have any problems? If not, I'm down.

Be careful who you purchase these from as your regular prices sound pretty cheap to me. Some companies use wilwood calipers with other brand rotors to make there own big brake kits and claim them to be wilwood. True wilwood brake kits are usually much more.

Is this the only brake kit for the SI at the moment?

This may sound dumb but it Wilwood a good brake brand... I was thinking about brake upgrades but was looking for something more on the lines of brembo, project mu, or even aem...

wildwood is a very good brand!

generally brake kits work better with bigger wheels.. the bigger the wheel the better off you are.. it also depends on the offsett. you should be fine with your volks.

i guess u getting them from fastbrakes.com?
if so i think it may be a makeshift willwood brake kit...with willwood caliper but different other parts.
reason i say this is because i had contacted willwood recently and all they had to say was "in development". their site didn't even list anything...
maybe i'm wrong...
if u can confirm that it's all good then i'll be up for 1 too.

They're just as good as Brembo's. Brembo made a name for themselves when they invested in auto manufacturers way, way back in the day. Some cars had Brembo's before Brembo's became bling. Wilwood's been around just as long. Stoptech and Endless are a few others. Depending on how the application is applied, I think Endless and Project Mu's are better than Brembo's to be honest.

I remember you saying that in the brembo GT kit thread a while back. Wilwood's are generally just as good as Brembo, but you lose the name and the huge cost, right?

Also, thanks for the info boostedg35.

In that case, I'm definately in!

btw i think these are only front kits.. nto the rears .. thats why they are so cheap.. any bbk will do the job really .. its all a prefrence in name or how much you want to spend.. i personally dont see spending 2,000 on a bbk for a civic very wise when you can get the same quality for less then 1,000

plan on this happening next week!

What will really piss you off is when someone spends about 300 to upgrade there pads and brake lines and stops just as good as you do
