The AEM is a good product but need to a good tuner to get your money's worth. Call ISP in beltsville and talk to Brad, he's mostly a EVO tuner but is good with AEM products. Also DTM in virginia is known for there AEM tuning. You can also think about the Haltech F10x, similar in price I believe and I know of a master tuner in Beltsville, Swift Racing.

If you really plan to tune the Greddy kit and eventually upgrade the components later on I would save for the AEM FI/C or the Haltech E6x. Both of those will give you Fuel and ignition that must better than the E-Manage. If you really want to controller more aspects of the car then save more and get the AEM EMS or Haltech E8v2 that controls Fuel, Ignition, Timing, Vtec and much more but those comes with a price.

Here's a link for comparsions of wiring diagrams for most of the ECU and piggyback for our cars. Programmable Engine Management Systems: Wiring Diagrams/Functions/Limitations

Haltech are little more than the AEM units in price. Since I have no experience with the AEM I can't really tell you the difference other than knock detection (stand AEM). From watching Mo, at swift, tune all of the IS300 with the Haltech it's seems to easier to fine tune than the AEM ECU. This is coming from a Master Tuner but also a tuner that's a Haltech reseller. Mo knows his stuff when it comes to tuning so I trust what he says about most ECU on the market. Haltech is also lauching a newer ECU that is a direct replacement called the "Platium". Hoping to see it lauched later this summer.. it's quite successful with the 350Z.
