Arrow JRSC Installed!!!!!!

Below are Pics and a vid of the install of my supercharger and CAI. I am sure you will enjoy the vid of my buddy grinding. Install was easier than I thought. Grinding is very minimal. Wiring is simple if you can solder. I would have to say the hardest part would have to be the last wire to solder for the xede unit. Had to deal with the VTEC solenoid behind the passenger side valve cover. Other than that we had a problem of course with the stock tensior the pulley itself fell off going down the highway. We were able to do a temp fix till I get a new spacer for the pulley and I am dealing with squeeks above 5K. Besides that

I'm so jealous! What's the driving experience like? You think it'd be worth doing on a daily driver?

Isn't the JRSC not CARB exempt?

The squeak is belt slip at higher rpms. That manual tensioner will always cause a little belt slip at high rpms due to belt expansion. I would run the stock tensioner, the one that came with the car....Try a 68.5" belt that may work with your setup...I am not certain though so just get a 6 rib one and test it out.

Watch when they lot off the gas at high rpms how much the stock tensioner goes bak to its original location.

Run it like this but include the A/C.

They both use the same M62 roots blower. They are basically the same except for the manifolds are a little different and the tuning systems are different. So I can't see too much of a difference in power output. But that's just my opinion on the matter. Highrev1 would probably have a better answer.

I will see if it will fit with my setup. I have really no play with my belt. I can't see how it is slipping. I wonder if a ingalls damper would help

remember that the JRSC came with bigger fuel injector too, so it will definitely give more power if the both use the same roots blower with a slightly different manifold. and it's not carb legal for a reason.

Watch the video It shows how the belt streches due to the high rpms...What happens is when it is sitting still and you tension it its fine, but as it spins the belt stretches and the tensioner that comes with the kit doesnt move it loses tension cause for belt slip...
