1G DSM BOV FTW!

Spend your $$$ on gas, not $200+ blow off valves.

was talking about THESE BOV's not ALL LOL they are necessary but if i was going to go for one that i WAS NOT RECIRC i would go with the TIAL however since now running a MAF and not speed density i will suggest HKS or a 1G DSM is always a GREAT performer for low boost applications

Okay everyone shut up who has no experience. I HAVE ONE and it is freaking awesome, one of the best BOV's if not the best on the market. So to the guy who's been on the "scene" for a long time you dont know jack because these have only been out for about a year and won SEMA awards. If you haven't seen them go check their video of the synchronic vs the HKS BOV.

What would you recommend and why for a high boost setup on speed density only?

The synapse synchronics can handle very high boost, up to 100psi I believe and are accurate at high or low boost.

Ok. I'm confused. I've heard so many different things in the last 2 days about this BOV. What is the truth? I was talking to a buddy who has one and he says it leaks boost at the flange. He fixed it with different srews. But he says it's really easy to deal with. There is no adjusting springs and stuff for boost settings. So for a guy that doesn't know as much about adjusting a BOV for different boost settings, it's perfect. But you guys are saying it's crap. Why is it crap. Anyone actually have any experience with it first hand? What exactly is crap about it?

I'll tell you why, because forums are a very unreliable source of information. There is no spring on the Synapse, no adjustment. It is a piston type BOV and it works under high boost or low boost, it is a superior design and has won awards at SEMA. I just stated above, that I have one on my Greddy kit. It's not crap, it works great. I am recirc'ing which is probably the best thing to do with a MAF setup. If you purchase it, you need to get an aluminum bung because the BOV comes with a steel bung and the Greddy pipes are aluminum.

Doesn't it come with adapters to fit all kinds of BOV flanges? The kit I'm buying comes with an HKS SSQ BOV so I can just use the adapter flages for the synapse, right?
