Maybe. I am cool with it for now. When/If Hondata comes out I'll worry about it then. I gained 45whp so I am happy for the time being. When/If Hondata releases something I'll be getting larger injectors and moving to 9psi. I am cool with what I have for now though.

Remember the AJP car at around 8psi had a 106 trap speed, so your not doing to bad.

What is your A/F ?

I wonder what would happen with a slightly smaller pully and 2 more psi? would the computer adapt since the tune is already very conservation?

what kind of exhaut you running?

I am talking to a guy about selling my tsx cams and my stock manifold. If I do I might go the route Complex went.

My AFRs are pretty good. I won't be upping the boost any without at least the AEM unit, which I am going to slowly put money away for. I am running the Vibrant 2.5" exhaust with an extra Vibrant resonator added in.

the reflash is pretty much pushing as much fuel as it can with the stock injectors. more boost without tunning would be bad

I just talked to Greg from Redshift and his opinion is the cams couldn't be hurting my numbers. I really do think my dyno reads slightly low. I gained 45whp which is the standard gain. I was shifting slow on purpose ( was having a problem with 4th gear for some reason, seems fine now) and still managed a 14.1 on the stock tires. His opinion was better tires and faster shifting. I am still confused about my trap speeds though. How are NA guys with ~205whp running 100-101 traps when I have a dyno proven 241whp and am only running that. Could drag radials really help that much with trap speed?

Since it is spreads through out this thread let me put everything here:

241whp, 161ft/lbs SC and 197whp, 144ft/lbs NA
14.1 @ 100 with 2.15 60' (shifting slow on purpose)
Previous best at same track: 14.7 @ 94 (fastest SI I have seen there and I go every street night)

Maybe the DCRH isn't helping too much because of the 50mm collector...

eh, I don't think I am running enough boost for that to matter. That is also on the list of things to eventually be replaced though.

What I'm thinking:
1. Try a different dyno.
2. Get the F/IC and tune it (w/ or w/o cams)
3. Grab a better header.
4. All of the above.

I can almost promise the only reason my whp is low is the dyno. They probably don't notice a 10hp difference on the 600+ whp racecars this place usually works on. My real question is the one I stated above.

Maybe you were shifting THAT slow? I've seen a modded STi run mid/high 13s with low traps because he had huge delays between gears... I'm not sure man.

I'll be the first to admit I was shifting really slow to make sure everything was good. I'll be going to a better track in the next few weeks or hopefully I can scrounge up some money soon for better tires.

I usually go to Richmond Dragway. Been to VMP in Dinwiddie once and was 2mph faster and knocked 2 tenths off when I was NA. Dynoed at Performance Autosport in Goochland.
