We can do another highway pull lol, even if you powershift am sure the same thing will happen..

I will be going to the track again on the 31st of this month, and then i might have to sell the turbo because some guy here is selling me a suzuki GSX R600 for 5k and it is in great shape.. only 3k miles on it.. so i can drive the civic regular and use the bike for fun.

But before i do all this, i will make sure to post some videos of me racing Si's.

Post some pictures of your bike, we can do an even trade depending on the bike or extra money from my side if the bike is good.

It is also some small issues that am having, for example the check engine light for insufficient EGR flow, i hate it and its there, second the car takes longer to start maybe because of the F/IC or something(am not the only one having this issues), when the engine is hot i have to give it gas for it to start, and then the downpipe hits the frame of the body of the car sometimes when moving from first gear, you will hear a rattle only sometimes but only in first gear and from 1 to 10mph than it goes away. other than the turbo kit is doing fine and i love boost.

I will be starting college again next year and will be driving 60 miles aday, and i don't want to put more wear on the engine than i need to, i will miss the power but am sure i can live without it, anothet thing if i ever sell the car, people will notice the check engine light and than they will ask me why the car is not starting right away, and then they will be like what is that rattle i hear.. and no one will buy it. so i learn my lesson, yea its faster than an Si on the highway but it is expected after droping 5k on the engine.. any engine can be made fast with money..

The EGR engine code is normal because the turbo kits comes with a plate that blocks that but it does not affect the car in anyway(but am anal about it and i hate to look at it since it is always infront of me when am driving), and the rattle blacksky said it can be fix by cutting part of the pipe. so this things are small issues that i can work out if i really wanted to, the delay for the car to start i have no idea what causes that, my tuner thinks is the AEM F/IC..

No, but that is not the reason my check engine light is on, because there are other members on here that don't have the check engine light..

I'm asking about it in reference to your starting problem. You said it takes longer to start the car. I have an upgraded fuel pump and fuel return system, so when I go to start my car, I can't just turn the key and it starts. I have to turn it to accessory or whatever is, wait til I hear the fuel pump stop, then start it. If it's colder weather, I have to let it prime twice.

The late starting has nothing to do with the FIC and is related directly to your mapping and settings given to the FIC. As i had mentioned in an earlier PM , you could retard the timing slightly ( assuming of course that you are not set up too rich)

I've been driving my car with the TSI turbo kit now since the 15th of May and havn't had a problem... My check engine light doesn't come on and that rattle is easliy fixed, i just cut the downpipe from the turbo and i've never heard the rattle again. As for starting problems, i've never had this trouble at all... only bad point im having with the turbo kit now is that it drinks so much petrol, i can only travel around 350 kms with a full tank of gas... :P but that's a sacarific i can deal with...

Not really most people that purchase the Turbo kit for the R18 do not care for gas prices, if you drive the car like normal it will be the same in gas, but it is kind of hard to do since you have the boost there all the time and it is not easy to save gas, i love to hear the BOV so i keep on boosting all over the place part of me want to take the turbo out of the car and the other part of me wants to keep it and up the boost and get a better tune..

I will be going back to the track on this next saturday, and will run it on the 1/4 mile against some of my friends Si's, there should be atleast 3 SI there and me.. i will make sure to take some videos.
