Help on tuning Emanage Ultimate for Gready

i am having some big trouble with the E-manage Ultimate and need help with some tuning. my civic is throughing a check engine for knocking sensor and mass air flow. also the Vsa light comes on and shuts of my car when running high boost and i have to coast for 45 seconds before it starts again. so please helpi need someone that tuned the E mange and contact me about some info. or tell me is there any other ECU that will help me out as well because E-manage is not very tunable to tell you the truth. thanks

E-manage ultimate is tunable, you just gotta call around your area looking for dyno shops, and ask around.

i have and i found a place that specializes in hondas but they were frustrated with the E-manage cause we been having all these troubles with it and they said the only way is a new ECU that is better for the car.

Time to find a better shop. I agree that emanage is a peice of shit but It's still very tunable. The shop you go to obviously doesn't have that good of experience with it.

It is tuneable only if you have bigger injectors.. Our Stock Injectors are 325cc and the one that comes with the GReddy Kit is 370cc.. Basically there is no difference! Get some 550cc Injectors and get a tuned. But if your having all those check engine lights problem, hit me up on pm with your email and I'll email you some maps to correct the issue.

well if you aren't aware... greddy has a new base map for the turbos so all u have to do is take it to a tuner or any shop and upload the base map into your ecu, i was having those problems with my sedan and this new base map got rid of it all, u just cant build boost too well in the higher gears or else it'll through a cel but im still planning on tuning it, but this definetly got me boosting until i get it tuned

Maybe we can compile some maps. Figure out how to tune the emanage.
List Location, mods. Im willing to share my map. I know we would need to be careful due to different locations (alt, ect). I was comparing the base map to my tuned map but If you have more maps to compare against maybe we can get a better understanding.

I thought It's still tunable for the injectors that come with the kit. You can still tune a better Map for the stock 6psi the Greddy kit originally comes at, Heaven only knows that any map is better then that shitty Basemap. I have always heard that stock injectors are 310cc, I'm sure those 370cc injectors can handle 8psi. Doesn't that guy with the funny avatar have his kit tuned at 8psi with those 370cc injectors making something like 280whp? Maybe he can chime in and clear the air.

Yes Galaxygreysi hit 280whp with the 370cc injectors at 8psi. Im running 9.5 on the 370cc injectors and the car runs fine. I think there is someone else running like 13psi on the 370cc. (cant remember who)

Now if you have a catalyst, would recommend 100% to take off, you'll see number increase.

With boost, you dont want all that power to be held back. And yes, make sure to check their software version or else it might not work with your emanage till they update it.

I would just say get a competent shop to tune your emanage and be done with greddy's shitty basemap'. Just remember cat or no cat it all depends on the tune.

On your pm you said you have 550cc injectors correct?
You need to change the injector size on the Emanage Ultimate..

If you already have the software... Import Data from main unit. Than click on that little Blue looking car... Than look for a TAB that say "I/J"... On the bottom of that tab it shows "BEFORE/AFTER Injector Size". Leave the BEFORE at "325" and change the AFTER from "370" to "550"... Click apply and Ok. Now Click on Communication and Export DATA to Main UNIT. Now all your problems are worry FREE

If you dont have the software than go to www.modhparts.com than hit me up on PM and I'll give you my phone number to guide you through.

Take care!

dont be scared, there are a handful of people having issues more than likely install errors, but way more than a handful who have had success you just dont hear about those as often... I for one love my kit

how much power did you pull @ 9.5 at your location for your specific vehicle? emphasis on the "your"
