Interesting: Scammer using my 8thCivic ad for his AJP Turbo kit for sale

I just had to post this up. I'll copy and paste both ads so you can see the similarities.This is also a heads up to people in Richmond, Virginia looking at Craigslist.

Scam Ad from Craigslist:

I got a used ajperformance stage 2 turbo kit for sale ..i put in about 7k miles on it n spent close to 8k on this kit ..oil change with royal purple every 2k miles .. this kit is in perfect condition .. i can help buyer with install with a lil cost .. asking price is $5500 OBO here is the link to the site http://www.ajperformance.com/product...ucts_id=137789
All you would need is the Hondata reflash and a competent shop to install the kit.

I'm seriously thinking about starting another project and I'd like to test the waters with my AJP kit. The reason why I'm thinking about selling is that the car just isn't fast enough for me. The kit and my car runs awesome but I've had a hard-on for a boosted IS300 for the past few years.

Precision 650cc injectors
AJP downpipe
Golden Eagle Fuel Rail
AJP Manifold
AJP/Meineke special sedan exhaust 3 inches catless all the way through

The kit has been on my car for about 7000 miles and the only issues I've had were VSA related due to the amount of power going to the wheels.

All you would need is the Hondata reflash and a competent shop to install the kit.

Car and kit are located in the Philadelphia area. I'll gladly take local buyers for a ride.

It was supposed to be a heads up to the members of the 8th.The ad was for my old kit that I sold on the 8th back in November and it didn't go to anyone in Virginia. Sorry for trying to give everyone a heads up.

its all good, just seems like a misunderstanding.

i see where you are coming from since you saw a 'replica' of your ad. i would be alarmed too. but it seems maybe he just copied your ad so he wouldnt have to reword it :]

If you look some of the parts are different, like he has an AJP exhaust...which he does, I have seen it on his car. It looks to me like he just used your ad as a template to make his life easier.

Don't take what we are saying the wrong way, it just looks like it might be another guy with a similar if not the same kit who is just really lazy haha.

yea its the same kit with diff size injectors , diff exhaust etc.. cant inagine someone else actually have a AJP kit for sale.. go figure... dude get a life .. that in no way shows that he copied off you or that its your kit
