Turbo with a cat question

Ok here goes... I live in Ontario so putting a turbo on the car is not that big of a problem... my problem is that cops are pretty anal about cars that don't pass emissions. If I put a high flow cat custom welded, will it decrease my numbers much? I just want to know to see what costs and parts I would need. I plan on getting a turbo kit soon. For example if the car puts down 210whp without cat what number would I expect with a cat?

As far as I know you shouldn't lose much. I guess I never really thought about this at all. I was always planning on using a high flow cat with a turbo kit in the near future.

Ya see the thing is on my 99 civic, I had headers and a highflow cat and there was no smell no CEL and very little pollution and it passed the drivetest in Ontario so I know it worked well. I just would like the car to be as "legal" as possible in case anyone harasses me, I'll still be withing "smog" specs

You will lose whp with the cat on any setup. With a turbo setup make sure you don't have anti-lag setup or you will burn the cat out!

From what I have gathered from members who got a test pipe gained an additional 20-30 whp. So you would probably wouldn't gain as much with a high flow cat. I'm in the process of having a custom 3" Carsound cat put together for mine.
