Want to make a custom bezel and put the gauge down here. I need help finding where to feed the vac line through the firewall. This my first boost gauge install and yes that qualifies me to be a noob

well honestly, unless your going to be upping the boost with a smaller pulley and using a wideband A/F meter in conjunction with the boost guage, its almost pointless to install a boost guage with a 5-6 psi S/C.
Unless you just want to monitor it for boost leaks, which more than likely wont happen with teh JRSC, theres really no need for a boost gauge. You cant up the boost with out changing a pulley so its not like your boost can really fluctuate like that of a turbo. This is the reason why i havnt installed a boost gauge. I dont plan on putting on a smaller pulley and i know the CTSC only boosts around 4-6 psi and will never go higher, so why buy a guage. Last edited by liquidr1; 05-06-2008 at 12:20 AM. |
